Day 00 : RESIDENCE – PUNE AIRPORT – GUWAHATI
Today enter the world of Sun Touriism Internationall Pvt Ltd as you begin your wonderful tour to
Assam Meghalaya. You will be picked up from your residence and transfers to Pune airport for your
flight.
Day 01 : GUWAHATI – SHILLONG
Your flight departs for Guwahati. On arrival you will be transferred to Shillong. Enroute witness the Umiam Lake or Barapani – is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya in midst of sylvan hills adorned by Khasi pines & peerless beauty. Check-in Hotel. Evening free at leisure. Dinner & Overnight in Shillong.

Day 02 : SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE – SHILLONG
After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on the earth, for an awesome day trip. Enroute visit the famous Elephanta falls. At Sohra, stop at the Duwan Sing Syiem view point. For mesmerizing views of the Hills in Cherrapunjee, be witness to the gorgeous Seven Sisters (Nohsngithiang) Falls and
Nohkalikai Falls. Later take a soft cave walk inside the Mawsmai Cave. The limestone cave is a natural wonder with innumerable formations inside it. Also visit the Dainthlen Falls. Drive back to Shillong for overnight stay.
Day 03 : SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG – DAWKI – SHILLONG
After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia, also known as ‘God’s own Garden’. With over 80 households, the village gives the ambiance of walking in a well maintained park. You will also be acquainted to the Khasi lifestyle, their culture and economy. We also witness the nature’s wonder, living-root bridge. The root bridges, may be up to over a hundred feet long and take ten to fifteen years to become fully functional. The useful lifespan of the bridges, is thought to be 500-600 years. Later drive to Dawki, a village of the Jaintia community whose prime occupation of fishing. Be mesmerized by the beauty of the Umngot river, you can enjoy an amazing country boat river ride (boat ride at additional cost). Drive up to the Bangladesh border. Drive back to Shillong for overnight stay.
Day 04 : HILLONG – KAZIRANGA
After breakfast checkout and transfer to Kaziranga, the World Heritage Site is the oldest park in Assam & is located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Kaziranga National Park is a natural habitat for
conservation of biologically diverse flora & fauna. It is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-
horned rhinoceroses besides sheltering about 15 species of India’s threatened mammals. There are
numerous other major wildlife fauna. Later visit the National Orchid Park. Rest of the evening free to explore the area and enjoy walking around. Overnight in Kaziranga.
Day 05 : KAZIRANGA
Early morning go for Elephant ride (By 05-30 A.M/6: 30 A.M. Subject to availability and allotment from forest department). Return for Breakfast to hotel. After breakfast proceed visit an Assamese tribal village
enjoying a lovely village walk as you interact with the local population. Afternoon transfer for a fascinating Jeep safari. Rest of the evening free to explore the area and enjoy walking around. Overnight in
Kaziranga.
Day 06 : KAZIRANGA – DARANG
Morning after breakfast, drive to Dirang (4910 ft). Enroute visit Tippi Orchid Centre, Arunachal. This ‘Orchid Paradise’ is famed to have the largest variety of orchids in India. The Orchidarium at Tipi shelters 500 or more varieties of orchids which are available in various parts of Arunachal Pradesh. It is
a premier Institute of excellence in orchid research and development, under the State Forest Research Institute (Department of Environment and Forests , Arunachal Pradesh). Overnight at Dirang.

Day 07 : DARANG – TAWANG
Morning after breakfast, drive to Tawang (10,000 ft). En route witness the unique Dirang Valley famous for its monasteries, hot Springs, Apple & kiwi Orchards, sheep breeding farms & charming valleys. Also witness the snowcapped Sella Pass at 13700 ft, the Jaswant Garh War Memorial and Jung
Falls. On arrival check in and relax. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 08 : TAWANG – BUMLA PASS – TAWANG
After breakfast proceed for day excursion to Sangestar Lake, Bum La Pass and China Border (Subject to permission from Indian Army). Later visit the War Memorial commemorating the bravery of the Indian
heroes of the Indo-China war of 1962. Witness the light & sound show in the evening. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 09 : TAWANG – DIRANG
Morning after breakfast, check out and visit the Tawang Monastery, also known as the “GALDEN NAMGYEL LHATSE”. This is one of the largest Lamaseries of Mahayana sect in Asia and is the largest of its kind in India. The Monastery is 400 year old and is adorned with the 18 feet high statue of Lord Buddha.
Later drive back to Dirang. En route visit Sangti Valley, an offbeat destination for sightseeing in Arunachal Pradesh. Overnight in Dirang.
Day 10 : DIRANG – TEZPUR
After breakfast drive to Tezpur. En route visit Bomdila Monastery. Inaugurated in 1965, this abode to Buddhist monks and Llamas is the biggest attraction in Bomdila. The monastery is also believed to be an exact replica of Tsona Gontse Monastery, Tibet. Later visit the Mahabhairav temple. The temple is
dedicated to Lord Shiva and built by King Banasura. The Shiva linga of this temple is said to be made of ‘Living Stone’ which grows over slowly by the years. Overnight in Tezpur.
Day 11 : TEJPUR – GUWAHATI – PUNE – RESIDENCE
After breakfast check out and transfer to Guwahati. On arrival visit the most auspicious Maa Kamakhya Temple at Nilachal hills in Guwahati. Maa Kamakhya Devalaya is considered most sacred and oldest of the 51 Shakti Peethas on earth. Later transfer to enjoy the Sun Set Cruise at mighty Brahmaputra River. Evening transfer to Airport for your flight to Pune. On arrival in Pune you will be transferred to your Residence with Wonderful memories of your holiday with Sun Touriism Internationall Pvt. Ltd.
