Iternary
On arrival at Guwahati Airport you will be transferred to Kaziranga. Enroute enjoy the Tea gardens. Check in at hotel. Dinner & Overnight at Kaziranga. Kaziranga, the World Heritage Site is the oldest park in Assam & is located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Kaziranga National Park is a natural habitat for conservation of biologically diverse flora & fauna. It is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses besides sheltering about 15 species of India's threatened mammals. There are numerous other major wildlife fauna.
Early morning go for availability and Elephant ride (By 05-30 A.M/6: 30 A.M. Subject to allotment from forest department). Return for Breakfast to hotel. After breakfast proceed for Jeep safari in the Central Range. With Kohora as the entry point, the Central Range covers the Daphlang and Kathpora. Later enjoy Local Village & Tea Garden (Outer View) tour along with visit to the Orchid Park. Dinner and Overnight at Kaziranga.
After breakfast, drive to Shillong. Enroute visit an Assamese tribal village enjoying a lovely village walk as you interact with the local population. Enroute witness the Umiam Lake or Barapani - is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya in midst of sylvan hills adorned by Khasi pines & peerless beauty. Check-in Hotel. Evening free at leisure to explore the region on own. Dinner & Overnight in Shillong.
After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on the earth, for an awesome day trip. En route visit the famous Elephanta falls. At Sohra, stop at the view point for mesmerizing views of the Hills. In Cherrapunjee be witness to the gorgeous Seven Sisters (Nohsngithiang) Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. Later take a soft cave walk inside the Mawsmai Cave. The limestone cave is a natural wonder with innumerable formations inside it. Also visit the Dainthlen Falls. Drive back to Shillong for overnight stay.
After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia (100 kms / 3 hrs drive approx), also known as God's own Garden. With over 80 households, the village gives the ambiance of walking in a well maintained park. Climb the 80 ft Sky Walk at Mawlynnong village for a bird's eye view of the Village, the plantations and faraway plains of Bangladesh. You will also be acquainted to the Khasi lifestyle, their culture and economy. We also witness the nature's wonder, living-root bridge. The bridges are tangles of massive thick roots, which the local people inter-twine to form a bridge that can hold several people at a time. The root bridges, may be up to over a hundred feet long and take ten to fifteen years to become fully functional. The useful lifespan of the bridges, is thought to be 500-600 years. Later drive to Dawki, a village of the Jaintia community whose prime occupation of fishing. Be mesmerized by the beauty of the Umngot River, enjoy an amazing country boat river ride (boat ride at additional cost). Drive up to the Bangladesh border. Drive back to Shillong for overnight stay.
After breakfast drive to Guwahati, Check in and free time. Evening enjoy Brahmaputra River Dinner Cruise. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
After breakfast time free for shopping till 1200 hrs. Afternoon checkout from hotel and transfer to visit the Kamakhya Temple. The Kamakhya Temple also known as Kamrup-Kamakhya temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas. Later have free time shopping until by evening you will be transferred to Airport for your return back home flight. In Case balance is not paid less than 30 days, your booking will be considered as Cancelled, without any further intimation and the Deposit / Paid Amount till date, will be forfeited.
In case of any amendments in Airport taxes, Government Taxes etc, tour cost will be adjusted accordingly.
There could be some attractions during tour closed temporarily, without prior notice. In such conditions we will try to find a substitute for the same, if possible & feasible. However, there will not be any refund in such case.
We do a lot of calculations and research to plan the tour itinerary, however there might be some last-minute changes, if required. However, we try to keep all the inclusions same, until they are beyond reach or try to arrange alternate sightseeing if possible.
As per Sun Touriism’s policy from the day 1, we never provide any Fix Seat to any Guest in coach during the tour. We strictly follow the Seat Rotating Policy.
For the Group generally we do the Group Bookings for flights in advance and are non - refundable. Also the Seat Selection, individual Check in etc, totally depends on the airline. They are beyond our control.
Any changes or cancellations of the flight by the airline are beyond our control. In that case we try to get the alternative flight option from airline, the difference of the cost if any will be borned by the guest.
All the Group Tours are subject to the Minimum Number Of Guests. In case we are not getting the appropriate number of guest of any tour, we will suggest the personal package option.
Standard Hotel Check-in time is 3.00 PM and check-out time is 11 AM of hotels in India.
We do not provide any meal during To & Fro Air travel or transit halts.
