Itinerary
Day 1 :
Residence – Mumbai – Helsinki
Welcome to the World of Sun Touriism. Pick up from Residence (Pune & PCMC Area Only) and transfer to Mumbai Airport.
Day 2 :
Helsinki
Board your flight to Helsinki. On arrival, after clearing your Immigration formalities check in to your hotel. Rest of the evening free to relax. Overnight stay in Helsinki
Day 3 :
Helsinki – Rovaniemi
After breakfast transfer to enjoy the Helsinki City Tour, followed by a visit to the Suomenlinna Fortress by ferry. Evening transfer to Helsinki Train Station to board an Overnight Train to Rovaniemi. This is a state of art train, known as ‘Santa Claus Express’. You will enjoy personal cabins with attached Bath. Day 4 :
Rovaniemi
Morning arrive at Rovaniemi. On arrival start your Rovaniemi City Orientation Tour. Later move to Santa Claus Village, which is Santa’s Official North Pole Residence. On arrival visit the famous Santa Claus Post Office. Later cross the Arctic Circle and you will be provided a certificate to carry the life time memories. Post afternoon you will be taken for a happening Husky Ride. Overnight in Rovaniemi.
Day 5 :
Rovaniemi – Saariselkä
After breakfast, group have time to go to Ranua Zoo, home of Polar Beer and 50 other Arctic Animals. Later transfer to the Northern Lights Village. Stay in beautiful Aurora Cabins to enjoy the Aurora Borealis from your room. Overnight in Saariselkä.
Day 6 :
Saariselkä – Alta
Proceed towards Alta, Enroute we pass through the Inari Area and Karasjok. Its been said, visiting any place is real fun, only when you meet the locals. Let’s visit the Sami Village to interact the Sami people, who are residing there since 6000 years. Later arrive Alta. Post dinner time to start Aurora Hunt. Overnight stay in Alta.
Day 7 :
Alta – Tromso
After breakfast enjoy an Orientation City Tour of Alta including Northern Light Cathedral and Kafjord Church. Afternoon proceed to Tromso, the most famous city for Aurora Hunting. Post dinner time to start Aurora Borealis hunting. There are several spots for the same. Overnight stay in Tromso.
Day 8 :
Tromso
After Breakfast proceed to visit the Arctic University Museum, also known as Sami Museum. Samis are the Indigenous people of Scandinavia residing there since thousands of years. Later visit the Polar Museum, to understand everyday life and adventures in the Arctic from the 17th century up to the present. Later ride the Cable Car to have an amazing Frozen City View from the top. Later proceed to enjoy the Tromso City Orientation Tour including Tromso Cathedral, Market place, Strogata Street etc. Post dinner time to start Aurora Borealis hunting. Overnight stay in Tromso.
Day 9 :
Tromso – Kiruna
After breakfast transfer to Narvik, another best place for Aurora hunting. Enroute pass by Ofotfjord. On arrive visit the Narvik Port, a place which gave first defeat to Hitler, followed by Abisko National Park. Later proceed to Kiruna. Post dinner time to start Aurora Borealis hunting. Overnight stay in Kiruna
Day 10 :
Kiruna – Stockholm
After breakfast transfer to visit the Ice Hotel. Afternoon visit the Kiruna Church followed by free time in the city for shopping. Evening board flight to Stockholm, Overnight stay in Stockholm
Day 11 :
Stockholm
Morning arrive Stockhalm, on arrival let’s move to have an Indian breakfast. Later start a Guided City tour of Stockholm, covering Nobel Prize Museum,where you will follow the changes of the 20th century through the Nobel Prize, Vasa museum, one of Scandinavia's most visited museums etc. Evening we will have free time for shopping in the town. Overnight stay in Stockholm.
Day 12 :
Stockholm – Mumbai – Residence
After breakfast proceed to airport for your return flight to Back Home. On arrival in Mumbai transfer to your Residence (Pune and PCMC Are Only}. Return home with lots of memories of your beautiful Scandinavia & Northern Lights Tour to preserve them for life time.
