Iternary
Pick up from your residence and transfer to Pune / Mumbai Airport, as per your choice of flight. (Flight Not Included in Tour Cost).
Arrive at Dimapur Airport and transfer to Kohima. On arrival check in to your hotel. After some relax transfer to Hornbill Festival Venue. Overnight stay in Kohima.
After breakfast enjoy a city tour in Kohima. Visit the Kohima War Memorial, Kisama Heritage Village, the venue of the Hornbill Festival and the Catholic Cathedral. Overnight Stay in Kohima.
After breakfast drive to the green village, Khonoma. Take a village walk and visit the Morungs (the age group house), the ceremonial gates and meet the local craftsmen. Collectively Khonoma was known for its fighting prowess in the past and for the fallow management of its alder trees which balance the nature and its surrounding areas. Also visit the beautiful Dzuleke Village. Later back to Kohima. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay in Kohima.
Morning after breakfast check out and drive to Kaziranga. Arrive Kaziranga and visit Orchid Park. (if time Permits) Overnight in Kaziranga.
After early breakfast proceed for Jeep safari in the Central Range. With Kohora as the entry point, the Central Range covers the Daphlang and Kathpora. Later proceed to Majuli, World's Largest River Island situated in the midst of river Brahmaputra. You will be transferred to Nimati ghat, near Jorhat, from where you will take a ferry to Majuli. Explore the village. Visit different Vaishnavite Satras with guide, taking you through the culture and history of the region.
After breakfast, take a ferry to Jorhat & proceed to Sivsagar. Discover the erstwhile capital of the Ahom Dynasty which ruled Assam for 6 Centuries. It is a beautiful town unveiling the marvels of the ancient capital of the Ahom kings, their marvellous archaeological remains, palaces, and temples. Overnight stay in Sivsagar.
After Breakfast transfer to Airport, as per your chosen flight (Flight Not Included in Tour Cost). On arrival in Pune, transfer to your Residence and End of the beautiful cultural tour with Sun Touriism Internationall Pvt. Ltd.
