Itinerary

Today enter the world of Sun Touriism Internationall Pvt Ltd as you begin your wonderful tour of Leh Ladakh. Pick up from your Residence and then proceed to Pune Airport to board the flight to Leh Via Delhi .
Board your Indigo flight to Leh Via Delhi at 0200 hrs. Arrive leh at 1300 hrs. Leh is in the abode of the rocky paradise of Ladakh depicting eternal beauty and wrapped in the most beautiful design of mighty Himalayas. Spend the rest of the day acclimatizing to the climate of Ladakh. Arrive and proceed to the hotel for check in. (Normal Check In Timings 1400 Hrs). Full day relax yourself in hotel for acclimatization. Evening visit Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Shanti Stupa is located at about 1km from Leh. It was built by a Japanese order and has wonderful views over Leh and the Indus valley, especially at sunset. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2 :

After breakfast visit Enroute visit Shey Palace. This summer palace of the erstwhile King of Leh is set upon a hill. Later visit the Thiksey Monastery The monastery itself has a 7.5 meter high, copper statue of a sitting Buddha, wrought in gold. This is the largest of its kind in the world. Also visit the Druk Pama Karpo (Rancho School). We may also visit the Hemis Monastry, if Time Permits. Evening enjoy the Light & Sound Show at Hall Of Fame (subject to operation). Overnight stay in Leh.

After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley popularly known as Dorma or “the valley of flowers” via
Khardung la pass the highest motor able road in the world (18,380 feet). Keep driving through Shyok River. Visit one of the best, Diskit Monastery (Big Buddha) and reach Hundur by late afternoon. On arrival you can enjoy Double Hump Camel safari (Optional). Dinner and Overnight stay in Nubra Valley

After Breakfast visit One of the most fascinating journeys in Ladakh, Turtuk. Though this is a less popular, recently opened, destination, but if you have a thirst for a beautiful location, this is the place.
En route spectacular mountain ranges and Villages like. This region is controlled mainly by the Ladakh Scouts a rear department of the India Army. A border village that was recaptured by the Indian Army in 1971. Locals have relatives across the border (Line of Control) and depend mainly on farming of vegetables, apricot besides providing mules and porters. Baltistan, a beautiful village with charming people “On the night of December 13, 1971, the people of this village went to sleep in Pakistan. The next morning, they woke up in India.” We are in Turtuk, listening to a villager recount the history of this remote northwest corner of Ladakh, which until that night was part of Baltistan in PoK. After a full day excursion, evening back to camp. Dinner and Overnight stay in Nubra Valley

Early morning leave for Pangong Tso Lake. While driving towards Pangong you will be crossing and visiting several other important destinations of Ladakh including the Shyok Valley, Durbuk Village, and Tangtse Village. Apart from the beautiful landscapes and mountains at the backdrop, Pangong is also popular because of its colour-changing abilities throughout the day. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long and is shared by two countries (25% India and 75% China). Pangong is the highest salt water lake in the world, shared by India and China. After The Success of 3 Idiots, Increased tourist attraction to the lake is due to the 3 Idiots Bollywood film set. Enjoy the turquoise color panoramic lake and the sun set on the banks of lake with magnificent mountains here. Dinner and Overnight stay in Pangong.

Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on the lake. After breakfast drive to Leh, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (third Highest Motor able road in the world). Arrive leh and rest of the evening Free to enjoy shopping in Leh Market. Overnight stay in Leh.

After Breakfast leave for Sham valley Region. Visit Alchi Monastery, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam View, where Indus & Zanskar River meet & Hall of Fame, which is worth a visit for every citizen. It is a glorious museum constructed by Indian army. You can see the memorabilia, eminent defense personalities with biographies, images and weapons used during Kargil war. Overnight stay in Kargil.

After breakfast transfer to Dras, to visit the The Kargil War Memorial, also known as Dras War Memorial. This is a war memorial built by the Indian Army in the town of Dras, commemorating the 1999 Kargil War between India and Pakistan. Later enjoy photo stop for the famous ‘Tiger Hill’. Later proceed to Srinagar / Sonmarg. Enroute pass the famous Zojila Pass, which connects the Srinagar and Dras Valley. Overnight stay in Sonmarg / Srinagar.

After breakfast transfer to Srinagar. On arrival enjoy Shikara Ride in famous Dal Lake. Rest of the time free to enjoy the shopping in Srinagar. Later proceed to the airport to board your flight to Mumbai. Depart from Srinagar at 2000 hrs. Arrive Mumbai 2305 hrs and transfer Pune and to your Residence.
