Today, enter the world of Sun Touriism as you begin your journey to India's Popular State UTTAR PRADESH. Pickup from your Residence and then proceed to Mumbai airport to board the flight to Lucknow.
After breakfast, drive to Ayodhya. Ayodhya is a city situated on the banks of the Saryu River in Uttar Pradesh. Owing to the belief as the birthplace of Rama, Ayodhya has been regarded as the first of the seven most important pilgrimage sites for Hindus. Owning a rich history of centuries, the city is mostly famed as the birthplace of Lord Rama. On arrival, start your city tour of Ayodhya by visiting the Ram Janam Bhumi, Hanuman Gadhi, Sita Kitchen, Balmiki Temple, Shilpgram, Sarayu River Ghat, etc. Overnight stay in Ayodhya.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Prayagraj. Prayagraj, formerly Allahabad or Ilahabad, is a metropolis in Uttar Pradesh. It lies close to Triveni Sangam, the "three-river confluence" of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Sarasvati rivers. It plays a central role in Hindu scriptures. The city finds its earliest reference as one of the world's oldest known cities in Hindu texts and has been venerated as the holy city of Prayāga in the ancient Vedas. On arrival, visit Triveni Sangam. Take a holy bath in the Sangam, perform puja, and ritual ablutions in the shallow waters. Later, visit Allahabad Fort – Patalpuri Temple, Bade Hanuman Ji Temple, Shankracharye Temple, Anand Bhawan, Ajad Park, etc. Overnight stay in Prayagraj.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Varanasi. Varanasi (also Banaras or Benares and Kashi) is a city on the Ganges River in northern India that holds a central place in the traditions of pilgrimage, death, and mourning in the Hindu world. It is one of the world's oldest continually inhabited cities. Kashi, its ancient name, was associated with a kingdom of the same name 2,500 years ago. On arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride to visit various ghats followed by the iconic Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
Early morning transfer to visit the most famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple. After performing pooja, also visit Anpurna Temple, Kalbhairo Temple, and Dandpaani Temple. Later, transfer to visit one of the four most famous Buddhist sites in the world — Sarnath. It’s believed that after attaining enlightenment, Lord Buddha gave his first sermon here to his five followers, who later spread his teachings around the world. Afterwards, visit the famous Banaras Hindu University campus and Birla Temple. Evening free for shopping. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
Early morning, enjoy the 'Subah-e-Banaras' tour. Watch the beautiful sunrise by boat on the Ganges. During the ride, your boat guide will explain the significance of the many world-famous ghats of Banaras. After freshening up, visit Sankat Mochan Mandir. Spend the rest of the day shopping in local markets. Late evening transfer to the airport for your return flight to Pune.
