As for the foodies, be delighted to binge on some of the regional food specialties such as momos (dumplings), dal bhat (lentils, rice and vegetables) and Newari buffalo dishes. Ah, it is to die for!
Well known for its one-horned Rhinoceros and Elephant Farm, Chitwan National Park is an establishment that you must check out. While you are there, enjoy Elephant back ride jungle safari, Canoe Ride on Rapti River. Oh, if you are up for it, you can go for a ‘guided’ Jungle Walk too.
Pokhara is the gorgeous city on Phewa Lake in central Nepal is surrounded by beautiful riverbanks, Annapurna Ranges. While you are here, you must visit Devi’s Fall and Gupteshwar Cave. Of course, a boat ride in Phewa Lake and you can take in the panoramic views of Mt. Fishtail. You can also, head over to Barahi Temple which is located on an island in Phewa lake, Vindyabasini Temple. Don’t miss out the International Mountain Museum which an ode to an ethnic mosaic of western Nepal.
